Embark on an adventure through the Floresta Nacional da Tijuca in a meticulously restored, convertible off-road jeep that was once part of the Armed Forces. After being collected from your hotel, make your way to Lagoa to admire the stunning view of the Christ the Redeemer statue before heading into the jungle. Pause at the renowned Vista Chinesa to delve into the history of this remarkable monument and enjoy distant views of the Christ.
Proceed to the Cascatinha Visconde de Taunay waterfall and take a quick dip in its clear, refreshing waters. Next, visit a quaint chapel built in 1855 and embark on the first of two hiking routes. Keep an eye out for coatis, toucans, and monkeys along the way!
After a brief bathroom break, begin the second hiking trail, where you will wander through the Atlantic forest, serenaded by the sounds of nearby waterfalls. Hop back into your jeep convertible to journey to the famed São Conrado beach, where you can watch the paragliders before enjoying a scenic ride back to your hotel.
