This lush park is dedicated to the cultivation of exotic flora, showcasing a variety of rare and unique species from around the globe. Be amazed by the Imperial Palms, the giant water lilies (Victorias-Regias), and the endangered Brazilian redwoods (Pau Brasil). In its famous greenhouse, over 500 species of delicate orchids are meticulously nurtured.

Next, venture into the magnificent Mata Atlantica of Tijuca, recognized as the largest urban forest worldwide. Make sure to pause at the Mirador Chino, which provides breathtaking views of the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, Guanabara Bay, and the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain.

Note that vehicle access to Mirador Chino is restricted on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
