While in Rio, we will tour the iconic Christ the Redeemer and ascend the majestic Sugarloaf Mountain. Our itinerary also includes visits to the Maracanã Stadium, the Sambódromo, the stunning Cathedral, and the vibrant Selaron Staircase.
During our time in Búzios, we'll embark on a cultural journey to explore the highlights of nearby towns. The Arraial and Cabo Frio excursion features a boat tour to the stunning beaches of the area, often dubbed the Brazilian Caribbean.

Tour Description

Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Upon arriving at the Rio de Janeiro airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy as you please.

Day 2: Discovering Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado + Sugar Loaf with Lunch

Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup, heading to the iconic Corcovado Mountain, home to the magnificent Christ the Redeemer statue, situated at an elevation of 710 meters. While admiring this world-renowned attraction, you'll be immersed in the lush surroundings of Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest on the planet.

From the mountain's summit, indulge in breathtaking panoramic views that stretch across the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, northern Rio, and several scenic beaches. Next, we'll make our way to the legendary Maracanã Stadium for an external visit, offering a glimpse of its grandeur.

Our journey continues with a stop at the famous Carnival Avenue, the Sambadrome, and an exploration of the Apoteosis Square.

Recharge with a delightful lunch at a buffet restaurant. Then, we head to the awe-inspiring Sugarloaf Mountain, located 395 meters above sea level in the heart of Guanabara Bay. Ascend in a glass cable car to the top, where you can savor a 360° view of Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo, and the surrounding areas.

Before concluding, we'll explore the charming Historic Center, making stops at the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral, the renowned Selarón Steps, and passing by the iconic Arcos da Lapa.

After a day filled with activities and exploration, we will return you to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on this unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Leisure Day

Enjoy a day at your own pace to explore Rio de Janeiro. We recommend an optional jeep tour through the tropical forest and the Tijuca Botanical Garden.

Day 4: Transfer to Búzios

We will pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro to transfer you to the neighboring city of Búzios, located 175 km away, taking approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival in Búzios, you'll be taken to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 5: Boat Tour in Arraial do Cabo

Departing from Búzios hotels, we head to the cities of Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, situated 25 and 38 km from Búzios, respectively.

In Arraial do Cabo, often referred to as the Brazilian Caribbean, embark on an exciting 3-hour boat tour to discover its main attractions. We'll set sail from the stunning Praia dos Anjos and continue to Ilha do Farol, a protected beach maintained by the Brazilian Navy, where you'll have 30 minutes to explore and capture breathtaking photos.

The boat journey continues along the cove of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, where you'll spot the image of the saint nestled in the crevice, Pedra do Macaco, Gruta Azul, and Gruta do Meteorito, perfect for capturing stunning photos.

Our second stop is at Pontal do Atalaia beach, one of the most beautiful in the region, where a narrow strip of white sand separates the azure sea from the verdant mountain. You'll have 30 minutes to enjoy a soothing swim in the crystal-clear waters before heading to our final boat stop: Praia do Forno, where you'll have 15 minutes to swim around the boat and observe the colorful local fish.

After disembarking at the Arraial do Cabo dock, we'll proceed to Cabo Frio, pausing for lunch at a delightful Brazilian buffet restaurant.

Following lunch, enjoy a panoramic tour of the impressive Praia do Forte, Forte de São Mateus, and the charming historic center, where we'll stop to take photos and create unforgettable memories.

Day 6: Leisure Day

Savor a day at your own pace to discover Búzios. We suggest an optional trolley tour along Búzios' main beaches.

Day 7: Departure from Búzios

We will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Rio de Janeiro airport for your departure flight.
